Larry Lawson- Founder/FBPI Director

Larry, a career law enforcement officer and law enforcement educator, has long held an interest in seeking the answers to the paranormal since his first paranormal encounter working in the Dade County Jail in Miami, Florida in 1980. His vision for the FBPI and the paranormal investigation and research field is to create an environment where evidence can be collected, preserved, skeptically reviewed and presented to prove the existence of life beyond our current understanding.

Mr. Willie Johns, The Chief Justice of The Tribal Courts of The Seminole Tribe

Johns works with museums across the country, including the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C., where he writes articles on Seminole topics such as stomp dance and warfare. He is a member of numerous organizations, including the Okeechobee Battle Friends, the Seminole War Society and the Florida Cattleman’s Association.

Lost on Palm Beach – Found in Vero Beach 11:00am-12:00pm

Author, columnist and historian Augustus Mayhew will speak on Waldo Sexton’s collection of Addison Mizner designed and manufactured artifacts that Sexton saved from Palm Beach mansions and made a part of Vero Beach’s iconic landmarks.  Guest curator of Building Paradise: Addison Mizner’s Legacy, 1918-2018, the Historical Society of Palm Beach County’s centennial exhibition at the Johnson History Museum, Mayhew is the author of two collections of essays on Palm Beach’s social, cultural and architectural history: Lost in Wonderland: Reflections on Palm Beach and Palm Beach: A Greater Grandeur. His articles and features have been published in The Palm Beach Daily NewsPalm Beach Life magazine, and online at The New York Social Diary.
